I have a room rental with a month-to-month written agreement in Silver Spring, MD. My landlord has tried to block my entrance by placing a chain on the entrance door and asking me to report to her every time I egress or ingress the apartment.
I had a month-to-month verbal agreement to rent for a room paying 00 a month. After a dispute, she asked me to move out immediately after I had paid the month’s rent.

Now no one can tell me how to have the execution delivered to the defendant.
I am a resident in a mobile home park. My landlord is suing me for unlawful detainer. Service of some notices, such as the court date, are sent through the U.S. mail. The landlord receives the mail and then distributes it to all the residents. Is this a conflict of interest and would this make service of these notices defective?

My brother and I had to get housing fast so we rented a large furnished room. The furniture was just a bed. Recently the tub has been backing up and the toilet is leaking plus other problems. If a tenant signs a lease [in Baltimore city} that clearly states it is the tenants responsibiltiy to clear the sidewalk/steps of ice and snow and the tenant does not do this, would the landlord or tenant be held liable if a 3rd party is injured from slipping/falling on that sidewalk?
