For legal advice in your state and your situation you should consult with an attorney in your state who is familiar with the rules and laws in your state.

‘Divorce states I am in no way shape or form liable for the mortgage or equity loan of our house. I am, however, half owner of the house. He died and willed the house and everything to me. I cannot sell the house without incurring a large loss. What are my options?’

Question: This question would be best asked of a real estate broker in your area. You own the house, and so the question of what you should do with it is more a function of the market in your area, and not a legal matter.
