I’m 15-years-old and I’m abused at home and controlled (I’m also home schooled.) I want to go to the police and have them give me a foster home or maybe move in with a family member.
I live in Oklahoma. I was granted a permanent restraining/protective order against my abusive ex-husband on behalf of my oldest daughter who is 16-years-old. The restraining order only protects her and not me. We also have an emergency protective order in place for her against his live-in girlfriend.
I am trying to assist my sister who is in an abusive relationship with her live-in boyfriend of 18 months. She has summoned up the resolve to leave him but there are financial constraints that we could use advice on. He recently had her use her car as collateral for a personal 2K loan in his name. What are her options should she leave him regarding her car? There is no expectation that he will cooperate in any way when she leaves and he would likely cease payments on the loan since it is her asset and he would not be affected other than the impact on his already thoroughly tarnished credit record. It was a transaction she felt forced into because she did not want to risk any abusive retaliation.

I have Bipolar Disorder, and wrote some bad checks and used a credit card illegally. I was in jail for one month. Then went through a domestic violence with my husband who is now my Ex- husband. The father of my two children keeps getting my parenting rights suspended because, of all that has happened this past year. What should I do to regain at least some visitation rights? I’m working now and paying child support again also.
I Called the Police on my Husband, Now that he’s been Arrested, How can I drop the charges?
