Can I Plead the 5th?

I was subpoenaed to appear and testify against my own father in a criminal case involving drugs. I don’t want to testify against my own father. Can I just plead the 5th or will I be held in contempt of court like the prosecuting attorney told me would happen if I didn’t testify against my father? If not, what about pleading the 5th on the grounds that my testimony may incriminate myself? Would either of these work on getting out of testifying against my own father? What Can I do About this Situation?

I pleaded guilty to charges of simple possession of marijuana and a open container in South Carolina in 2007. The judge told me that I would be able to get the charges expunged after 3 years. I recently tried to have the charges expunged. The expungement was denied because I previously had a prior expungement. I did a SLED background check and it came back clean but, when I go on job interviews, the two misdemeanor convictions show up and I get denied employment. I tried hiring several different lawyers to assist me with a pardon but, they all turned me down because they say there is nothing on my SLED background check. What can I do about this situation? A 15-year-old minor was caught shoplifting for 7.00 worth of goods at Walmart. The stolen items were returned and no charges were pursued. A 17-year-old was caught with 0 worth of goods at the same time. Criminal charges were filed against the 17-year-old. The Juvenile Justice has recommended a diversion program for this minor. I Complained to School About a Substitute Teacher Taking Pictures of My Child for Personal Use, and Now She is Harassing Me at Work, What Can I Do?

Substitute teacher took pictures of my child at school for personal reasons. I filed a complaint with the school board. They told her last Thursday she was blocked from subbing and she came straight from the school board office to my job, showed them my complaint (which she should not have a copy of), some print outs of my old Facebook pages and tried to tell them I was doing this on company time and wanted them to term me.
