Our Builder is Changing the Plans of the Home they’re Building for Us, Is there any Way to get Out of Our Builder Contract?

I have signed a contract with a national builder last October and my house is one of the last two to be built in this phase (first out of three). I received a letter from the builder saying that, county forced them to change blueprints and my house is losing two windows in the living room. A Contractor Gave me a Title to a Car for Collateral, Now with the Work not Finished I’m Unsure if the Car Exists, What Should I Do?

My Family Won a Room Makeover, Do We have any say Legally as to What Furniture is Chosen?

Then I was contacted by the tv news sponser of the contest and told that our furniture was not approved and that in the rules of the contest, it stated that the furniture was at the discretion of the furniture company. However, I never saw the rules. Do we have any legal rights in this situation to actually get the furniture we want? Read More …

What are my legal obligations here? Do I have to send the book back if I never agreed to receive it in the first place? I don’t really care whether I get to keep the book or not but I don’t want to be constantly receiving this junk and having to spend the time to return it. I figure if they don’t get the first one back they might get the message that no means no. What say you? Read More …
