I am 23 married and pregnant by another man. Does the child get to keep her fathers last name which is not my husband or will she be given my husbands last name?
I need advise on my case, I want to sue my biological father. I have one main obstacle, he’s American of Malaysian-born-origin living in California, married few years after i was born and I’m Malaysian living in Kuala Lumpur. I’m 33 years old now. Can my age now sue him?
At the time of the child’s birth, her mother and I both lived in Ohio. The mother subsequently moved with my daughter to Michigan. We have never had a court order. I willingly pay support. I am happy to pay whatever is reasonable, but want it to be as close to what a court would likely rule to protect myself as much as possible from owing a large arrearage at some point (and, of course, to do the right thing).
My Mom is on SSI and just recently got a divorce from my Dad. He sent me a check but it is made out to my Mom.
The problem is that my dad said when I have the baby he is going to put the father on child support or put him in jail. I don’t want him to do that because the father is helping support the baby and he has never forced me to do anything.
My husband and I have been seperated for about 8 months, but I have not been able to get a divorce because I am pregnant with our second child (which I have placed for adoption). We have a 2 year old child that he has never supported, and I can barely support her on my own.
My son just found out that he is one of 5 men tested to be the father of a 2 or 3 year old girl. He was under age when this child was conceived and she was between 23-26 years old.
