The answer to the question posed below may not apply to in your state or to your situation. For legal advice in your state and your situation you should consult with an attorney in your state who is familiar with the rules and laws in your state.

I am a lesbian and I want to use one of my guy friends to have a child. I want to know if I can use an agreement between both him and I to relieve him of his rights and responsibilities for the child?

Depending on your state law, this may be possible. You should consult with a local attorney well versed in family and contract law to see if such agreements are in fact legal. In addition, your friend can terminate his parental rights through the court system as well in lieu of having an agreement. The process may be tedious and it does not guarantee that he won’t later challenge the termination.
