I own one half of a duplex in the State of Maryland and I have tennants. After cleaning our gutters, we observed that the roof on the other half of the duplex had shingles missing and was in bad need of repair (this was at least 2 years ago). I live in Oregon where the growing of medical marijuana is legal by state law. Our neighbor has a large farm adjacent and behind our property. Because we have a mutual access road, people are knocking at our door all the time looking for the neighbor, who does not actually live at his farm. We are not in favor of his line of work and are tired of being bothered by his associates and have put up a sign announcing the marijuana farm and directions on the sign of how to get to it. I live in a small town that used to have a one man water works. Years ago, the city put a water line to a neighbor’s property, inside my property while we were away. Since then, it occasionally develops leaks which they have to come on my property to fix, and they leave ruts that they do not smooth over. They were never given permission to put the line there. My house and my neighbor’s house share a common sewer line; that is, my sewer line crosses over into their property and then connects with their sewer line. The combined line connects with the main sewer running underneath the city street. Read More …

My neighbor works for a family owned business that is fully licensed, however she works from home which is a rental (she lives downstairs we live upstairs). My biggest problem is that our shared driveway is constantly used for business parking and the driveway is always full of cars, making it so that if we want to have company while there is a meeting going on, our guests have to park down the street. In New Jersey our next door neighbor’s daughter decided to pull the grass around a small tree located in the middle of our neighbor’s house and mine without asking for my permission, replaced it with pebbles and put a small fence around it.
