I was never married to my daughter’s father, his name is on the birth certificate and we have done a paternity so that she would have a medical card. He does not pay child support through an agency and we have never been to court over any custody issues. We have joint custody, although I have physical custody of two of our daughter’s and my ex has physical custody of our other two daughter’s. I have just recently discovered that my ex and his wife, have both been indicted on four Federal felony charges of which if found guilty on all four counts, they could each land themselves in prison for up to 55 years and/or a 50,000.00 fine! This is the situation: my son who is now 18, moved out of his mother’s home (missouri) two years ago. Since then he has been on his own, at that time I discussed with his mother, sending the support payments directly to him. She has since threatened numerous times to take me to court so that support continues to be paid to her.
