My father purchased a home with my boyfriend at the time. My ex-boyfriend did not equally contribute financially, and now wants us to pay 0,000 for him to give up his share of the property. The plan is to get him off the deed and mortgage and put me on as the co-owner. I was told that the only way to do this is to re-finance. We do not want to sell the house either. I just want to know my options at this point and what he is entitled to. Thanks in advance for your response.
My sister deeded her house to me before she passed away. I am in the process of trying to sell it; the mortgage is in her name and her ex’ – he is not on the will, and this is going to be a cash deal.

My brother and I are joint owners of a cabin in the mountains in Arizona. Almost a year ago, he filed a partition action of the property. Initially he retained a realty company to sell the property, but the company pulled out after a couple of months.

Hi, I have had a reverse mortgage for several years. Because of rising costs I have not been able to pay for home insurance for four or five months. I’m 81. The mortgage company is threatening to foreclose and evict me if I do not get insurance within a couple of weeks. All the taxes are paid. Can I be evicted?

Initially he retained a realty company to sell the property, but the company pulled out after a couple of months. Now for almost 10 months, my brother has done nothing to sell the property other than to place two small For Sale by Owner signs on it.
Hello my name is Mike writing you from Howell, New Jersey. My question is: my township gave me the approval for a fence on a 25′ setback viavariance. Then a township engineer came to inspect my pool, and found an encroachment only on the fence. Can the township legally make me move it back the foot that’s an encroachment issue after giving me the approval on my original permit?
