I am now fixing to get married but my fiance is wanting me to file bankruptcy first because she is afraid they may come after her for the debt. Is this possible.”

It is certainly possible to file bankruptcy on those debts. And, depending on the state in which you live, it is possible that once you are married they could come after her earnings for the debt.
