Dog Being Put Down Unfairly
|
Summary

“Do you have any recommendations of an attorney that deals with dog situations? My dog is being ordered to be destroyed by the city and I feel this is far too severe of a punishment considering the circumstances. I am also concerned that my rights as well as my dogs’ rights have been violated during this ordeal. I am currently appealing the decision, but feel my voice is not being heard.”
I can well imagine that this must be a horribly frustrating situation for you. Your best bet is to do an Internet search for “dog law” or “dog attorney” along with the city and state, or at least state, that you are in. If your search doesn’t turn up anybody nearby, start calling people out of the area. It’s a very specialized area of law, so a dog attorney in another state may well know of a dog attorney in your state, or at least be able to give you some ideas as to what you can do.
