Recently there has been a change of ownership on one of the properties. The new owner has a teenage son. The parents leave town often and leave the son alone. While the parents are away the son has been throwing parties where there is teenage drinking. We are concerned that at some point one of these underage drunk children will cause and/or have an accident that will result in death or injury while crossing our property. Can we be held liable if something like this should occur? Other than calling law enforcement to alert them to the party is there any thing else we can do to protect ourselves?

When it came on it started vibrating real bad and it spun to the right. I pulled it back around straight and as I went to turn the power off, it spun to the right again and sucked two of my fingers in. As a result I lost 6 hrs pay from my job while at the emergency room. After contacting there claims department, they want me to send them a letter as to why I feel they are responsible. Should I send them a letter or have a lawyer prepare it?

In the State of Maryland are there any laws which govern how male and female dressing rooms are to be managed/configured in a clothing store? I recently was in a dressing room at a clothing store when I noticed that a man was on the floor looking at me from under the dressing room door while I was changing (I am female). Does the establishment bear any responsibility for my trauma and distress?

They confronted my husband with urinating outside the building on his way in, and claimed " 2 witnesses" saw him. Well my husband told them to review the videotape and see, because he didn't do such a thing. They advised my husband to clean out his locker, turn in his lock, and his badge. They were suspending him pending an investigation and he was told to report to the HR department the following morning at 9:00 a.m. Well he went , and they agreed they were indeed wrong, as he did not urinate the camera clearly showed he was tying his pants. My question is does he have any legal recourse for falsely being accused, losing a nights worth of pay ( about 140.00), and being humiliated. Is he entitled to something to make this right?

As she was eating one of her chicken burritos, she bit into a 1" chicken bone. which cut into her gums. Later in the day (yesterday) she received a call from the insurance company for Taco Bueno, they were very nice, asked how she was, they advised that she go to the Dr. or Dentist to have her teeth and gums looked at, and to make sure infection does not exist. Are we able to sue?

The neighbors across the street who are personally known to both myself and my husband and who were, at one time, friends have put me in a position, that I am considering a slander/malice lawsuit. A potential buyer was doing a walk about around the property when they were approached by the said neighbors and told "not to buy this house, the roof leaks and the walls leak". I have suggested to my husband that if my realtor could get a signed statement of exactly what was said, the date and time and a description of the parties stating these malicious words, I may have a case. That is my question - do I have any rights to protect my reputation and as well the potential loss of the sale of this house?
