My childs father is currently ordered to pay me 568.00 a month in child support. Me and the father talk pretty regular so he informs me of how much is taken out of his check and from what he tells me..they are taking out almost the full amount but i'm not receiving half of that money on my end in support. I honestly was receiving more from him before the support than what i'm receiving now and that is so backwards. I feel like now i'm being cheated..like i made a mistake putting him on child support in the first place. My question is why are they taking out more than i'm receiving?

I gave temporary custody of my two little girls to their father 5 years ago so that I could go to an in-house drug rehabilitation for one year. He has since failed two drug tests (during a modification of custody hearing) and I have passed all of mine. We now have a 2 2 3 split, which is very hard on my girls, especially my oldest with adhd. The father is also facing a 4th degree assault for smacking our youngest daughter in the mouth 4 times. Are there any organizations that review cases to make sure things are operating in a checks and balances type of way without charging me thousands of dollars?
